As Managing Director, Kimmo is responsible for the overall operations of Kemin Digipolis Ltd. With more than 20 years of experience in regional development and business collaboration, he is a seasoned developer and builder of networks.
Kimmo creates the conditions for our expert team to succeed, while remaining actively involved in development work himself. In recent years, his work has also focused strongly on strengthening the vitality and attractiveness of Kemi in his role as the City’s Director of Economic Vitality.

Pirkka is at home in international networks, yet he understands the everyday realities of Finnish SMEs. Päivi Keisu works with industrial investments in the Sea Lapland region. She has a background in regional development at the Lapland ELY Centre and experience in managing projects related to clean industrial change.
She has worked as Project Manager for the Invest in Veitsiluoto project and is responsible for Invest in services at Kemin Digipolis. Her main areas of work include invest in discussions, supporting companies in setting up operations, and working closely with companies, public authorities, and other partners.
Päivi is a reliable contact person and negotiation partner for companies planning and carrying out industrial investment projects.
Jenni Lampila works on mapping industrial side streams generated by companies in Northern Finland and assessing their suitability for wastewater treatment as part of the ProWater collaborative project. In addition, our Environmental Engineer is involved in the GREAT project, which aims to strengthen the Ajos logistics hub’s position as a strategic green transition investment area in the Sea Lapland region.
Jenni has a broad interest in advancing the circular economy and the environmental sector, and she is committed to serving customers with energy and determination.
Jenni’s energy and enthusiasm also carry over into her leisure time, where she pursues her passion for horses and equestrian activities.
