One of the most important goals of the biorefinery feasibility study project is to secure a comprehensive partner company network in Northern Finland to support with the construction, launch and upkeep of the biorefinery. Kaidi will purchase more than 2.0 million cubic meters of wood per year in different forms – any type of wood is suitable. Wood is preferably bought naturally dried to a humidity of roughly 35 – 40 %, but also as green wood directly to the terminal.
The construction will begin during 2017, and the production will start in 2019.
