Innovaattori Business Incubation Service

The Innovaattori Business Incubation Service assists new entrepreneurs who have a business idea, specialised expertise and innovative competence in their own field, as well as the aspects necessary for successful, fresh and creative business operations within the operational area of the Business Incubation Service. Innovaattori offers new entrepreneurs an open and business-minded environment in which to learn, share experiences and network with other companies.

The establishment and development of a company is a demanding process requiring a diverse range of information and skills. Incubation is an efficient process to further develop a business idea, since Innovaattori offers the opportunity to investigate and implement the idea in co-operation with experts. Our extensive and diverse expert services and network are here to support and assist entrepreneurs in this process.

Each incubation or development agreement is valid for a period of one year. Innovaattori provides office space and other facilities for permanent or temporary use at reasonable rental rates; general services, such as telephone exchange or office services; and machinery and equipment for shared use. If necessary, the entrepreneur is provided with targeted training and the necessary support resources, such as laboratory facilities, specialised machinery and equipment, or personnel support in the form of students carrying out thesis work or an internship. The service can also organise tailored staff training for the company in question.

Innovaattori also provides access to consultation and guidance on improving one's entrepreneurial competence, product development, business idea development and technological transfer services. Assistance with financing for investments and development activities, loans and equity funding, are also included in the services offered by Innovaattori.
